Mars Petcare Franklin invites you to join the Summer 2027 Packaging Co-Op Internship (Finance). Work on packaging innovation projects, sustainability assignments, and collaborate with cross functional teams across Mars brands.

Qualifications

• We are looking for agile, curious, and collaborative students with drive for results and a willingness to learn.
• Passion for engineering and the consumer products industry.
• Majors include Packaging, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Quality, Data Science.
• This opportunity will be in the Franklin, Tennessee area.
• Eligible candidates will intern the summer prior to their final graduation date.
• Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without visa sponsorship.
• Employment is contingent upon drug & background screening.
• Candidates must be willing to commute to the work site during the internship.

Responsibilities

Pet Nutrition Packaging Co-Op Internship Experience

As a Pet Nutrition Packaging R&D Intern or Co-Op, you will be responsible for the below

• Lead and execute packaging innovation projects under the guidance of packaging associates.
• Perform packaging sustainability assignments to help meet Mars sustainability goals.
• Collaborate with cross functional team members including product development, project management, finance , marketing .
• Develop detailed packaging specifications.
• Initiate, coordinate and execute line trials at co-manufacturers to confirm that quality attributes and performance metrics are achieved.
• Coordinate the creation of high-quality prototypes to gauge consumer desirability, influence teams and support collaboration.

• Eligible candidates will be responsible for personal transportation to and from work site during duration of the internship program.
