Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is offering a Supply Chain Transportation Internship for Summer 2027. The program is located at Corporate Office, West Des Moines, and may take place in Chariton or Ankeny, IA, running mid-May to mid-August 2027.

Candidates will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with hands-on learning and a final presentation to leadership. Successful candidates are strong academically, have demonstrated teamwork, and are proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Business Economics, Industrial Engineering, Transportation

Responsibilities

• Assist management and employees in learning daily supply chain processes
• Review large data sets and propose changes to improve operations
• Contribute ideas in final presentation or paper at internship end
• Participate in facility tours, networking opportunities, and leadership presentations
