Job summary

Stryker Corporation is offering a Project Management internship in Irvine, CA. You will support New Product Development (NPD) teams and PMO, handle data entry, metrics, and portfolio reporting, and work cross-functionally to improve tools and workflows.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, with a 3.0+ GPA, strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (Business, Engineering, etc.); must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship.
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (preferred)

Opportunities available

As a Project Management intern at Stryker, you will support New Product Development (NPD) teams and the Project Management Office (PMO) through NPD governance and portfolio execution. In this role, you will assist with data entry, metrics, resource analysis, portfolio trend reporting, and will work cross-functionally with program, project, and portfolio managers to improve tools, workflows, and speed to execution.

Majors Targeted

Supply Chain Management, Industrial & Operations Engineering, Business Administration, or related majors

What You Need

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (Business, Engineering, etc.); must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship.
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (preferred)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.

$20 min hourly wage - $35 max hourly wage, sign-on bonus, 11 paid holidays annually, and either paid corporate housing or a living stipend, dependent upon hiring location

Work Flexibility

• Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.
• Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.
• Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.
• Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
