Job summary

Finance or Accounting interns at Stryker will contribute to financial planning, analysis and reporting while gaining mentorship from leaders in a collaborative, innovative culture. The role emphasizes real impact through hands-on projects, exposure to ERP systems, and cross-team collaboration across the organization.

You will document processes, build reporting templates, and participate in budgeting and close activities, preparing you for a career in healthcare finance within a global leader.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in a related field; must remain enrolled.
• Cumulative GPA 3.0+ (verified at time of hire).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong written and verbal communication with collaboration ability.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze accounting statements and reports to assist in preparing financial statements.
• Support teams in developing and improving finance and accounting processes.
• Build ad-hoc templates and leverage ERP systems and Excel to automate and optimize reporting.
• Coordinate with departments on projections and budgets, and communicate variances against financial targets.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and participate in monthly close processes and reporting; assist with annual budgets.
• Collaborate with other Finance interns on a country-wide case study project.

Opportunities Available

As a Finance or Accounting intern at Stryker, you will gain hands-on experience supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities.

$20 hourly wage - $35 hourly wage + paid holidays

What You Need

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship.
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.

Work Flexibility

Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.

Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.

Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.

Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
