Precision AQ, part of Precision Medicine Group, seeks Summer 2027 interns to join the Market Access Consulting team. You will work closely with project teams on real client engagements and gain hands-on consulting experience in health economics, pricing, access strategy, and data analysis.

The internship is full-time and paid, with a minimum eight-week commitment. You will develop research, analytical, and presentation skills while exploring potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a relevant degree program (life sciences, public health, economics, business, healthcare).
  • Graduation 2027–2029 for undergrads or within one year of advanced degree.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and Word; ability to manage priorities.
  • Interest in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or market access and consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist project teams by conducting primary and secondary research from internal and external sources.
  • Organize and analyze qualitative and quantitative data for client deliverables.
  • Support development of strategic recommendations based on market insights.
  • Identify trends and synthesize conclusions from complex information.
  • Contribute to client-facing presentations and internal brainstorming sessions.

We are seeking motivated, intellectually curious Summer 2027 Interns to join our Market Access Consulting team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands‑on consulting experience while working alongside industry experts on real client engagements.

As an intern, you will function in a role similar to a full‑time Analyst, contributing directly to project teams and client deliverables. Depending on business needs and project availability, you may be staffed on a single project for the duration of the internship or support multiple projects throughout the summer.

This is a full‑time, paid internship with a minimum commitment of eight weeks during Summer 2027.

What You Can Expect

During your internship, you will:

  • Work closely with project teams to understand client objectives, project plans, timelines, and key deliverables.
  • Learn how market access consulting supports pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
  • Gain exposure to a variety of therapeutic areas and healthcare challenges.
  • Develop research, analytical, and presentation skills through meaningful project work.
  • Participate in a structured intern program, including networking and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct primary and secondary research using internal and external sources to address client business questions.
  • Gather, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Support the development of strategic recommendations based on research findings and market insights.
  • Identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions from complex information.
  • Contribute to internal brainstorming sessions and problem‑solving discussions.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other client‑facing deliverables.
  • Participate in project team meetings and support follow‑up activities.
  • Seek, receive, and incorporate feedback from team members and project leaders.
  • Support business development initiatives and proposal development activities as needed.
  • Participate in a collaborative intern project alongside fellow Summer 2027 interns.
Qualifications
Required
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, PharmD, MPH, MBA, or other relevant degree program.
  • Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029 for undergraduate students, or within one year of graduation for advanced degree candidates.
  • Academic concentration in Life Sciences, Public Health, Economics, Business, Healthcare, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Interest in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, consulting, or market access.
Preferred
  • Previous internship, research, or leadership experience.
  • Experience analyzing data and presenting findings.
  • Familiarity with the U.S. healthcare system or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn.
