Job summary

Stryker invites motivated students to join our data science internship in New York, where you will work on real projects and gain exposure to leaders who mentor you. You will apply classroom knowledge to a fast‑paced, growing healthcare industry, contribute to meaningful analytics, and present complex processes clearly to stakeholders.

You will work with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools to uncover trends, forecast outcomes, and drive data‑driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree‑seeking program after the internship.
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships
• Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.

• The intern will achieve this through hands‑on data exploration, advanced analytics, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to identify trends, forecast business outcomes, and support initiatives across Inventory, PLCM, and Customer Service.

• Develop, analyze and model operational, economic, management, accounting and other organizational data.
