Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Fort Wayne, IN is offering a Data Analytics internship where you will apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects, build Power BI dashboards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship.
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
• Familiar with Python, SQL, Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of ETL frameworks and desire to learn how to build.
• Familiar with building reporting/analytics solutions with Microsoft Power BI.

Opportunities Available

As a Data Analytics intern at Stryker, you may be placed in one of the following teams, where you will contribute to projects that help transform data into insights that drive business decisions and improve efficiency:

• Business Analytics – Visualize and translate data into actionable insights for cross‑functional leaders and teams.
  • Sales: Provide reporting, content, and tools that increase sales productivity and effectiveness while streamlining processes and metrics.
  • Data Governance: Help deliver trusted, high‑quality data that enables scalability, process excellence, and improved partner experiences.
  • Commercial Analytics: Analyze diverse data sources to support business growth strategies by reducing time spent on data preparation and increasing focus on insights and foresight.
  • Technical Support: Work with stakeholders to gather Support KPI requirements and build PowerBI dashboards to visualize data. Provide forensic analysis of data and identify trend patterns. Develop AI solutions using MS CoPilot and other LLM/ML solutions.
• Data Intelligence – Develop dashboards and visualizations of internal datasets that support informed decision‑making across business units and for customers.
• Information Technology – Partner with IT teams to leverage emerging technologies and analytics to deliver quality data, trusted information, and innovative tools that support Stryker’s growth objectives.

What You Need

• Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
• Familiar with Python, Structured Query Language (SQL), Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of ETL frameworks and desire to learn how to build.
• Familiar with building reporting/analytics solutions with Microsoft Power BI.
• Familiar with Cursor, Microsoft CoPilot, Prompt Engineering and vibe‑coding tools.
• Desire to grow and be challenged technically and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

$20 min hourly wage – $35 max hourly wage, sign‑on bonus, 11 paid holidays annually, and either paid corporate housing or a living stipend, dependent upon hiring location

Work Flexibility

• Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.
• Field‑based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field‑based.
• Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.
• Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co‑located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
