Job summary

Ally Financial offers an Accounting Intern program from May 2027 to August 2027. You will work with diverse accounting teams across the organization, gaining exposure to accounting operations, financial reporting, tax, and controls while contributing to impactful projects that support the business.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are required.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and entering your senior year, or pursuing a Master's degree in Accounting.
• Interest in obtaining CPA licensure is noted as preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with account analyses, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities.
• Assist tax provisions and related disclosures; help forecast tax implications.
