Ryan LLC is seeking a Tax Internship candidate to work with our state, local, federal, and international taxation professionals in Fairfax, VA. You will identify tax savings opportunities for Fortune 500/1000 clients and receive hands-on training in a team-based environment.

You will gain experience preparing technical memoranda, reviewing documentation, and assisting with tax controversies. A strong GPA and completion of foundational accounting coursework are expected.

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate or Economics.
• Anticipated graduation date within one year of internship.
• Minimum overall and major GPA of 2.8.
• Minimum of 6–12 Accounting hours.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and research tools.

Responsabilidades

• Provide exceptional client service to multi-state companies and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Assist with state and local tax controversies, including preparing protests and hearings.
• Research and draft technical memoranda on state/local tax questions.
• Review documentation and perform detailed calculations.
• Respond to client inquiries from tax authorities.
• Work with raw data to complete calculations.
