Job summary

State Farm is offering a summer internship in its Property & Casualty Claims department in Indianapolis. Sophomore through senior students graduating in 2027, 2028, or 2029 may apply for a two-summer program with hands-on experience in claim handling, inspections, and negotiations.

The internship runs June 2, 2027 to August 11, 2027, pays $24.00/hour, and includes a $2,000 stipend. It is remote with a scheduled in-person hub week and requires full-time student status throughout the program.

Internship Information

• Dates: The internship will occur between June 2, 2027 - August 11, 2027
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week
  • Due to the short duration of the summer program, it is an expectation that hired interns will be available for the duration of the summer internship with little to no disruption in work schedule.
• Pay: $24.00/hour
• Stipend: Interns selected for our summer internship program will be eligible for a $2,000 stipend!
• Internship Program Eligibility: To be eligible for the internship program, you must be a full‑time student currently enrolled throughout the duration of the internship.
• Work Arrangement:
  • Remote(with occasional in‑person requirement): This position is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is open to college sophomores, juniors, and seniors throughout the state. The internship is primarily remote, with most work completed from home. You’ll also spend one scheduled week working in person at a hub location.
  • Hub Locations: Dunwoody, GA; Richardson, TX; Tempe, AZ; or Bloomington, IL
  • Reliable transportation is required, as you may have several opportunities to ride along with a licensed claims professional. Work‑related mileage will be reimbursed.
