Responsibilities

State Farm's Innovation Group is looking to for passionate students to join our Summer Internship Program! As a Ventures Analyst Intern, you will be a part of a team that empowers innovative companies to create a better future for us all. Our goal is to find better ways to meet the needs of our incredibly diverse customer base. So, we invest in companies that disrupt conventional modes of operation to help each of us live smarter and safer lives.

What You Can Expect:

• Summer Internship Dates: Wednesday, 6/1/2027 - Wednesday, 8/11/2027 (10 weeks)
• Onboarding (Bloomington, IL): 6/1/2027 - 6/4 2027
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week
• As the summer program has a short duration, it is expected that hired interns will be available throughout the entire summer internship with minimal to no disruptions in their work schedule.
• Pay: $28.00/hour. In addition, interns selected for our summer internship program will be eligible for a$2,000 stipend!
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Qualified candidates should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid environment.
• Hub Locations: Richardson, TX; Los Altos, CA;or Bloomington, IL

Qualifications

We Are Looking For The Following:

• Currentcollege Freshman and Sophomoresmajoring in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent majors including but not limited to Business Information Systems, International Business, Insurance & Risk Management, Economics, Innovation/Entrepreneurship and related majors.
• Demonstrated interest in investing, corporate finance and/or venture capital
• Drive and initiative to lead and affect positive change
• Leadership skills through extracurricular and professional endeavors
• Ability to thrive in a team environment, both in-person and virtual
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
• A can-do attitude, and someone who loves to have a bit of fun!
• The ability to work in an environment that emphasizes information sharing, collaboration, teamwork, mutual respect, and integrity.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Investments, Corporate Finance, Venture Capital, & Insurance
• Experience with Banking, Entrepreneurship, & Financial Modeling

Internship Program Eligibility:

• Current college Freshmen who will graduate Spring 2030 or current Sophomores who will graduate Spring 2029.
• Selected interns must reside within the continental U.S. for the duration of the summer internship.
