Job summary

McClelland Consulting Engineers (MCE), an ESP Company, is seeking a Summer 2027 Intern - Aviation for Fayetteville, AR. This full-time internship offers exposure to aviation-related civil engineering tasks within a regional firm.

You will assist with cost estimating, environmental studies, and the development of construction plans under supervision, applying AutoCAD and MS Office skills. This role targets an Engineering BS student who demonstrates initiative and reliability.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree (BS) program from an accredited Engineering school.
• Initiative and ability to exercise independent judgement.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD & Microsoft Office.
• Candidates must pass a drug screen, background check, and meet MVR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Cost estimating and preliminary design.
• Assisting with funding applications and environmental studies.
• Perform detailed reviews, studies, analyses, and prepare reports.
• Develop construction plans and specifications.
• Perform detailed design calculations.
