Job summary

The Keurig Dr Pepper internship program in Benton Harbor invites you to join the Appliance Engineering team as a Summer 2027 Intern. You will work on developing and improving Keurig appliances, including future Alta and K-rounds ecosystems, with real responsibilities and leadership of design initiatives.

You will learn rapid learning cycles, NPD, design of experiments, and cross-functional collaboration while contributing to a fast-paced global supply chain and presenting outcomes to leadership.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate currently enrolled in a full-time academic program in a related field.
• Available to work 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm).
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills including written and verbal abilities.

Summer 2027 Intern – Appliance Engineering (Benton Harbor, MI)

As a Summer 2027 Intern – Appliance Engineering in Benton Harbor, MI at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), you will be part of an exciting and fast-paced company, whose goal is to satisfy every customer’s beverage need, anytime, anywhere! You will have real responsibilities and lead projects that contribute to the overall growth and success of this leading beverage company. With a wide range of both hot and cold beverage offerings, you’ll have the unique opportunity to develop and improve our Keurig appliances, including our future Keurig Alta and K-rounds ecosystem.

This position is aligned to our Coffee Operating Unit.

Shift/Schedule

• The KDP 2027 Summer Intern Program will run from June 7th - August 13th, 2027
• Location: Benton Harbor, MI
• Full-time; 40 hours per week
• Monday-Friday
• 8:00am until 5:00pm
• In-person

As an Appliance Engineering Intern, you will:

• Learn about Rapid Learning Cycles, New Product Development (NPD) and designing solutions to satisfy consumer needs.
• Lead a new design or improvement initiative tailored to your experience and interests, then present results to leadership.
• Utilize project management, guided experimentation (design of experiments) and knowledge management tools to plan your project, develop and capture learnings.
• Get exposure to a global supply chain including electromechanical components, plastics, electronics, and multi-region contract manufacturing.
• Engaging and partnering on innovative projects to gain experience in a fast paced, cross functional team environment

• Participate in meet & greets and lunch & learns with KDP executives and other organization leaders
• Receive professional development training such as networking, professional skills development and presenting
• Complete a project from start to finish and present it and your takeaways to your team, department, and senior leaders to highlight your project work and impact on the business

Total Rewards:

• $31/hr
• Paid bi-weekly
• $2,500 sign-on bonus, paid within first 30 days of employment

Requirements:

• Undergraduate currently enrolled in a full-time academic program from an accredited college or university, majoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related field.
• Available to work 40 hours per week (M-F, 8am-5pm)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills including excellent listening, written, and verbal abilities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, be independently driven, and adapt to changes.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
