Job summary

Momentive is seeking the Summer 2027 Analytical Intern for our Pearl River, NY site. The role focuses on updating the Mass Spectral Library, expanding open access lab techniques, and performing NMR analyses to support routine analyses and accelerate innovation and product development. Applicants must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, available to work 40 hours per week for 10–12 weeks between May and August, and pursuing a B.S.

or B.A. in chemistry or related fields.

Summer 2027 Intern - Analytical Intern

Intern Summary

The 2027 Pearl River Analytical Intern will conduct research work in three areas: Momentive Mass Spectral Library update; Open Access Lab Technique Development and NMR Analysis. These research work will be critical for maintaining institutional knowledge, enabling researchers to perform routine analyses independently, reducing reliance on specialized analytical staff and accelerating innovation and product development.

Qualifications

The following are required for the role: Candidate must be in college working towards a B.S or B.A. majoring in chemistry or related fields.

Program Requirements

The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship. The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.

Education Qualification

High school Diploma, enrolled in college working towards a B.S or B.A. majoring in chemistry or related fields.

Base Pay Range

$22.00 - $26.00

The base salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.
