Ryan LLC in Boston is seeking a Summer 2027 Intern in Abandoned and Unclaimed Property Consulting. The role offers hybrid work options and exposure to state, local, federal, and international taxation for Fortune 500 and 1,000 clients.

You will work with subject matter experts, receive training, and contribute to tax savings analysis. Qualifications include pursuing a degree in Accounting/Finance/Real Estate/Economics, GPA 2.8+, and 6–12 accounting hours.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate or Economics.
• Anticipated graduation date within one year of internship.
• Minimum overall and major GPA of 2.8.
• Minor of 6–12 Accounting hours depending on practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service to multi-state companies by identifying tax savings opportunities.
• Assist multi-state companies with state and local tax controversies, including discussions with auditors, hearings and appeals, and protests.
• Research and draft technical memoranda on state and local tax questions or issues.
• Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.
• Review documentation and research issues.
• Work with raw data to complete detailed calculations.
