Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah invites qualified students for the Summer 2027 IEF Flight Operations College Intern program. You will work with the Flight Operations team to support efficiency and learn across disciplines such as engineering, analytics, and operations.

The internship is onsite in Savannah, with a 12-week minimum, requiring full-time student status and a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Candidates should be enrolled in aviation-related programs and proficient in Microsoft

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time in a bachelor’s degree program related to aviation.
• GPA 3.0 or higher (without rounding) must be listed on resume.
• Sophomore year completion required prior to internship start date.
• Rotation requirements: Juniors – 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students – 1 rotation.
• Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); onsite requirement.”

Responsibilities

• Support Flight Operations to improve efficiency across Gulfstream fleet.
• Interface with Flight Operations supervisors, Directors, Chief Pilots, Dispatch Senior Manager, and VP of Flight Ops to complete projects.
• Complete projects including flight safety systems, analytics, flight operations, and aeronautical or systems engineering.
• Support efficient work practices and processes.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• This position will support the Gulfstream Flight Operations organization to improve efficiency across thecompany's Gulfstream fleet.
• Interns will interface with the Flight Operations Supervisor, Directors, Chief Pilots, Dispatch Senior Managerand VP of Flight Ops to complete projects that enhance processes and efficiencies for all mission‑specificGulfstream fleets (e.g., production test, demonstration, Airborne Customer Support).
• Complete assigned projects and work plans that include - but are not limited to – flight safety systems, business intelligence/analytics, flight operations, and aeronautical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
• Support efficient work practices and processes.

Additional Functions

• Comply with safety rules and procedures.
• Ensure application of all Gulfstream regulations and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college aviation program such as pilot training, aircraft dispatch, business aviation, engineering technology (A&P technician), aviation maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge and understanding of multiple operating systems and Microsoft Office suite is preferred.
