Job summary

MTS Systems (an ITW company) is seeking an energetic HR Intern for the summer of 2027 to gain hands-on experience in HR projects that impact the business. You will develop HR and business acumen through training, mentorship, and exposure to senior leadership while partnering with the HR team on activities across the full employee life cycle.

The MTS internship program offers meaningful projects, networking events, and development opportunities across the country.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, economics, or related field.
• 3.0 GPA or above.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Eager to learn, with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Leadership and teamwork capabilities required (extracurricular, academic, etc.).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Must be able to work onsite at our Eden Prairie, MN location.
• Previous relevant internship experience preferred.

This position will provide hands‑on experience working on human resources projects that impact the business. They will develop HR and business acumen through training, mentorship, and exposure to senior leadership. Partner with the HR team on activities of the full employee life cycle.

Our MTS Systems Internship program provides its interns with meaningful projects, networking events and development opportunities. In addition to real‑world experiences, interns can build their professional network with enterprise leaders and fellow interns from across the country.

Compensation Information:

$20 - $28 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
