Viper Energy, Inc. in Midland, TX, is seeking a Finance and Investor Relations Intern to own a summer project and work directly with senior leadership on financial analysis, investor relations, capital markets, and M&A. The role offers end-to-end ownership and exposure to the C-suite and Board.
The intern will gain hands-on experience in the minerals and royalties business, with mentorship and opportunities to present to executives, while supporting IR materials and market analysis.
Viper Energy, Inc. ("Viper") is headquartered in Midland, Texas, and was formed by Diamondback Energy ("Diamondback") to own, acquire and exploit oil and natural gas properties in North America, with a focus on owning and acquiring mineral and royalty interests in oil-weighted basins, primarily in the Permian Basin in West Texas.
The Finance and Investor Relations Intern will own an assigned summer project while working directly on business functions such as financial analysis, investor relations, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions. Viper's finance and investor relations team is intentionally lean, which means the intern will work directly with senior leadership, own deliverables end-to-end, and often see their work products reach the C-suite, Board, and investor community.
