Blue Origin is seeking interns to work directly with engineering teams on projects across avionics, software, hardware-in-the-loop, and propulsion systems. The role emphasizes real-world, hands-on experience with mentorship from managers and exposure to multiple business units.

Applicants should be U.S. citizens or eligible residents, enrolled in an undergraduate program, with at least one semester remaining and a minimum of 15 weeks availability.

As part of a hardworking team, interns work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects in support of our business units.

Intern Project Focus:

Projects may involve many aspects of applied electronics and electrical engineering including avionics hardware (from PCBs to electrical systems), software, hardware in the loop, instrumentation & controls, system test, power systems, communication systems, mechanical systems, propulsion systems, manufacturing, and systems engineering. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

During your internship experience, you can expect to:

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.

We offer housing and relocation support. Interns are responsible for daily transportation to and from their work locations.
