Job summary

Blue Origin invites motivated undergraduates to join our Systems Engineering internship on Merritt Island, FL. You will work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects supporting our business units, focusing on system definition, test, integration, and verification.

Interns gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from managers, and participate in events to learn about other parts of our organization.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
  • Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation (sophomore standing).
  • Available to work full time for 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for Space.

As part of a hardworking team, interns work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects in support of our business units.

Systems Engineering

Intern projects may involve aspects of applied systems engineering including system definition, systems test, system integration, requirements verification, system safety, operations and system verification of fluid, mechanical, propulsion and electrical systems.

During Your Internship Experience, You Can Expect To

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

We offer housing and relocation support. Interns are responsible for daily transportation to and from their work locations.

Hourly compensation for applicant is: $32.00
