Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions seeks motivated summer interns for our electrical and architectural engineering teams in Maryland. Interns will gain hands-on experience on real construction projects, start mid-May, and work full-time (40 hours per week) through early August; a hybrid schedule allows up to 3 days from home.

On-the-job training and mentorship will cover Revit drafting/modeling and electrical design including lighting and power distribution.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering.
• Desire to pursue a career in engineering consulting.
• Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) from May through August 2026.
• Computer software knowledge or ability to learn, as appropriate (Revit, SKM, etc.).

Responsibilities

• The Intern will work at applying academic education to assigned tasks on real projects of all sizes and types from concept to completion of construction.
• They are provided on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers to learn the basics of Revit drafting / modeling and electrical design including lighting and power distribution to all necessary equipment.
