Job summary

C3 AI is seeking Data Scientist interns for the Summer 2027 internship program. You will work with data scientists, AI engineers, and subject matter experts to define analytics capabilities and build AI-powered enterprise applications on the C3 Agentic AI Platform.

As a member of the Data Science team, you will develop and evaluate AI/ML models, tackle real-world problems like fraud detection and predictive maintenance, and help scale solutions for large customers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing MS or PhD in CS, EE, Statistics or equivalent field.
• Applied ML, Generative AI, and Agentic AI experience (regression/classification).
• Familiarity with foundation models and enterprise use cases.
• Experience with prototyping languages such as Python and R.
• Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, calculus, probability and statistics.
• Experience with scalable ML (distributed computing, cloud-native, streaming).

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of AI and agentic AI systems into the next generation of C3 AI products.
• Design and deploy ML algorithms for industrial applications such as fraud detection and predictive maintenance.
• Collaborate with data and subject matter experts to seek, understand, validate, interpret, and correctly use new data elements.
