Job summary

VMG Health seeks a Financial Analyst intern on the Compensation Valuation team across Dallas, Nashville, Denver, New York and Philadelphia to perform financial analyses, modeling, due diligence, market research and report writing.

You will work with clients to gather data, develop models, and contribute to articles and presentations, in a hybrid environment with 4 days in office. Open to juniors, graduating seniors and graduate students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance and/or economics.
• Strong knowledge of financial theory and/or economics.
• Financial modeling experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to present ideas clearly.
• Client-oriented work ethic and ability to build relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Apply core financial valuation principles to diverse arrangements.
• Gather information from clients, including financial statements and contracts.
• Develop novel methodologies to address evolving valuation challenges.
• Co-author articles or presentations on compensation arrangements.
• Collaborate with Division leadership in a team-based environment.
• Maintain division infrastructure, update templates, and run survey analytics.

VMG Health is seeking a Financial Analyst on our Compensation Valuation team in Dallas, Nashville, TN, Denver, CO, New York, NY and Philadelphia, PA to assist with performing financial analyses, valuation excel modeling, due diligence, market research and report writing.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply core financial valuation principles to unique and ever-evolving types of arrangements.
• Work directly with clients in gathering information and data such as financial statements, contractual agreements, operational reports and any other data or information required to provide a thorough work product.
• Problem-solve in developing novel methodologies, approaches or considerations in an ever-evolving industry.
• Participate in authoring or co-authoring articles and/or presentations on compensation arrangements.
• Work directly with Division leadership in a team-based cohesive environment.
• Support the maintenance of the Division’s infrastructure including updating and keeping template models & reports current, performing periodic survey database analytics, and contributing to a positive culture.
