Job summary

Philips is seeking a Summer 2027 Intern - Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in Plymouth, MN. You will join a Product Industrialization team to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing, engineering, and production within Philips' new center of excellence.

You will develop processes, write specifications, test new processes and equipment, and contribute to lean initiatives while leveraging CAD and data analysis to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/MS in engineering with focus on manufacturing, mechanical or biomedical fields.
• Experience executing school or internship projects is a plus.
• CAD proficiency (SolidWorks) preferred and statistics software (Minitab, MATLAB) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing innovative processes and design approaches for products and processes.
• Perform basic project tasks: writing/verifying specs, maintaining docs, testing new processes/equipment.
• Identify and solve problems in manufacturing processes and equipment; drive data-driven decisions.
