Permian Resources Corporation in Midland, Texas, offers a paid summer Accounting Internship for 2027. You will be paired with a manager and mentor, gaining hands-on experience in accounting functions and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams. The ideal candidate is pursuing or has completed an Accounting degree (Bachelor's or Master's) and can commit to 12+ weeks starting mid-May 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
• Current level in college: Sophomore through Graduate student.
• Expected graduation: Fall 2027 through Spring/Fall 2029.
• Available for internship start mid-late May 2027.
• A minimum of 12 continuous weeks' availability for internship.

Responsibilities

• Assist Joint Interest Billing and Revenue accounting functions.
• Analyze suspense accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable as needed.

Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking an Accounting Intern for the Summer of 2027 Intern Program in Midland, Texas. The candidate could provide support for various accounting functions including Joint Interest Billing and Revenue as needed, along with requests around external audits. Additionally, the candidate could perform analysis on suspense accounts, accounting receivables, and accounts payable.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution
• Pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
• Current level in college: Sophomore through Graduate student
• Expected graduation: Fall of 2027 through Spring/Fall of 2029
• Available for internship start mid-late May 2027
• A minimum of 12 continuous weeks' availability for internship

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum cumulative and major GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Lower GPAs in the applicant's field of study may be considered if extenuating circumstances apply
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Must be able to handle multiple projects and obtain results in a performance driven, team-oriented environment
