Job Responsibilities
  • Develop integrated spin-transport/micromagnetic models to evaluate the performance of prospective NLSV readers.
  • Establish SNR scalability with very narrow dimensions and assess the technological feasibility of replacing MTJ-based readers.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Ph.D. student in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field, with a strong background in magnetic recording physics and device modeling, emphasizing spin transport and micromagnetics.

Skills:

  • Hands-on experience developing Finite Element-based micromagnetic codes and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB.
