Summer 2023 Internship - Low Voltage Systems

Description

Team Fishel has an exciting opportunity for a Low Voltage Systems Intern with our Low Voltage Systems Technologies division in Columbus, OH. This is a great way to apply your academic learning in a utility construction setting.

This position will supply knowledge and hands‑on ability in cable installations of Voice, Data, FiberOptics, and Coax cables, as well as the termination and testing of copper and fiber optic cables. You will also perform cable/equipment installations as directed by the Sr. Installer/Crew Leader and per the manufacturer's guidelines. You will be expected to adhere to all of the company's policies, practices, and procedures, as well as all of the company's safety, appearance, and demeanor guidelines.

To be considered for the internship, you should be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in an accredited college/university program. Previous industry experience is not required. This role requires that you be physically able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions in a fast‑paced environment. You must be at least 19 years of age and have a valid driver's license at the start of the internship, which is anticipated to be late May – early June 2023.

Candidates will be reviewed through March 2023 and those of interest will be contacted for interviews no later than April 1 st, 2023.

Team Fishel will provide on‑the‑job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation, and maintenance.
