Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Suite/Premium Services Runner to deliver exceptional guest service in the Premium Suites Department. You will collaborate with venue staff to provide attentive service, including delivering food and beverages and supporting opening/closing duties.

Candidates should have 2–3 years in a fast-paced bar/club/restaurant, strong English skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Union membership applies and schedule includes extended venue events.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to interact with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Ability to interact with co-workers to comply with service standards.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with personal service and attention to detail to exceed expectations.
• Deliver food, soda, water, wine, and beers.
• Collaborate with service departments within the venue.
• Assist the service staff by clearing tables and running food.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area.
• Know other food/beverage outlets within the venue.

The Role

The Suite/Premium Services Runner position provides exceptional guest service while working collectively and cooperatively in the Premium Suites Department.

Responsibilities:

• Provide our guests with personal service and attention to detail to exceed their expectations
• Deliver food, soda, water, wine, draft beer, and bottled beer
• Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within venue
• Support the service staff by clearing/cleaning tables and running food
• Fulfill the assigned opening and closing duties
• Set up and maintain a clean, neat and safe work area
• Must be knowledgeable of other food, beverage and retail outlets within the venue

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to interact with guests in order to assure guest satisfaction
• Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
• Ability to multi task in a fast paced, team orientated setting
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
• Must have two (2) to three (3) years working in a fast-paced bar, high-end club, or restaurant
• Must be able to read, speak and write English in order to communicate with guests
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
• Ability to work all Venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays

Required Certifications:

• CA Food Handlers Certification
• CA Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification

Union Membership:

This position is represented by Unite Here Local 11. Please note that union dues are required as part of membership.

Compensation:

$18.45 - $20.50

Physical Requirements:

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions. Able to perform normal lifting of stock, up to 20 lbs.
• Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
