Job description

Overview

The Suites Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the serving of guests in the suites level, which includes 44 suites and an exclusive VIP area. The Supervisor must be personable and able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. They will assist the Suites Manager with projects such as training, inventory management, and special events. Maintaining excellent attendance and availability to work scheduled events are essential.

This role offers an hourly rate of $17.00-$22.00 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the setup of food service areas within suites based on pre-orders.
  • Ensure all suites are prepared prior to events based on received orders.
  • Maintain quality and hospitality standards throughout the Suite Level.
  • Communicate effectively with department counterparts.
  • Organize and prepare for events.
  • Assist in closing out financials and ensure accurate billing.
  • Supervise team members on non-event and event days.
  • Direct inquiries not related to food and beverage to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor and maintain food quality.
  • Support management in enforcing policies, safety, sanitation, and creating a positive environment.
  • Maintain cash handling and alcohol service policies.
  • Control inventory and manage product requisitions.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of menus and accompaniments.
  • Supervise beverage service, including alcohol, ensuring legal compliance (ID checks).
  • Observe guests and respond to requests.
  • Ensure suites are equipped with necessary serviceware and setup items.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards.
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance and equipment readiness.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to visibly intoxicated guests.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Apply HR skills in employee relations, coaching, and documentation.
  • Assist with training, inventory, and special projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Valid food handling or alcohol service permit as required.
  • Cash handling proficiency.
  • Basic math skills related to POS transactions and inventory.
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience in a restaurant or catering setting, or relevant education.
