Job summary

ASM Global is seeking a Suite Food Runner for a part-time position to support our Food & Beverage team. Under the Suites and Catering Manager, you will promptly run food and drinks from kitchen to pantry, assist suite servers, and help resolve issues while maintaining high standards of service.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 months of running food orders experience, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Summary

Under the direction of the Suites and Catering Manager, the Suite Food Runner will provide the highest customer service possible. They will assist the Suite Servers as needed, run food/drink orders from kitchen to pantry promptly, and help resolve any problems on the job.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Comply with Standards of Service and assist in ensuring the same among all department staff.
• Perform all duties assigned by the Suites and Catering Manager and Pantry Coordinator.
• Properly rotate all items in storage.
• Run food/drink orders from kitchen to pantry promptly.
• Assist in other areas as assigned, ensuring high performance, guest satisfaction and profitability.

Education and/or Experience

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 months running food order experience and/or training.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong understanding and knowledge of food safety, sanitations, and food handling procedures.
• Ability to take direction, multitask, and follow through each task given.
