Job Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adheres to liquor laws regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up bars, stocks beer, wine, spirits, supplies, and garnishes.
• Maintains freshness of garnishes and perishables.
• Greets guests courteously.
• Takes and prepares drink orders, using recipes and portion control.
• Checks IDs for alcohol service.
• Recognizes and acts on guest intoxication; knows liquor laws.
• Handles cash, verifies charges, and records transactions.
• Secures beverage and cash assets.
• Follows health and safety standards through cleaning and organization.
• Maintains attractive bottle and glass displays.
• Washes and sterilizes glassware.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
