Job Summary

Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures accurate execution of all events during the shift. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event area during and after events; breaks down setup; returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility timely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions.
2. Logs and maintains food temperatures.
3. Arranges tables and decorations.
4. Sets up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.
5. Serves food and beverages to guests.
6. Cleans location after events.
7. Returns food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
8. Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
9. Maintains catering facility and equipment.
10. Provides friendly, courteous service to guests.
11. Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
12. Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
13. Follows safety and sanitation policies.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain or possess a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by law.
