Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for a SUE Technician III in McLean, Virginia. In this role, you will utilize various technologies to identify utility conflicts while supervising field crews. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, especially in electromagnetic and geophysical designating technologies, and must enjoy outdoor work.

Compensation ranges from $33 to $44 per hour, depending on qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience with electromagnetic and geophysical designating technologies.
• Experience with vacuum excavation preferred.
• Must be able to quickly grasp new technologies.
• Proficient communication and internal collaboration skills.
• Enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret utility records and survey drawings.
• Designate existing utilities using technologies.
• Operate vacuum excavation trucks.
• Coordinate survey work in SUE.
• Supervise field crew activities.
