Job summary

NV5 is seeking a full-time SUE Technician II to locate underground utilities for utility services projects across Florida. The ideal candidate will work as part of a small crew, utilizing industry-specific equipment while ensuring safety and efficiency on-site.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of utility designation experience.
• Must possess or be able to obtain valid driver's license prior to employment.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities including water, gas, power, etc.
• Work as part of a two to four-man crew.
• Collect existing conditions information for underground utilities.
• Assist with operation and maintenance of vacuum excavation truck.

Skills

Utility designation experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Familiarity with AutoCAD

Ability to type

iOS operating system familiarity

Knowledge of GIS technology

Education

High School Diploma or GED
