We are seeking a SUE Field Technician I to join our team. If you want to help improve the communities where we live, work, and play, consider joining McKim & Creed.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INCLUDE:

• Operating SUE field equipment safely, including ground penetrating radar, electromagnetic designating equipment, sewer camera, probe rod, jackhammer, chop saw, pneumatic tampers, vacuum excavation equipment, and other geophysical tools.
• Following all safety protocols near utility facilities.
• Maintaining vehicles, equipment, and work sites.
• Adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• High School/GED or equivalent preferred; specialized training or experience as a Rod person/Instrument person is a plus.
• Ability to walk outdoors through various terrains and conditions, including heat, cold, hills, swamps, and wildlife.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate equipment as needed.
• Willingness to travel daily and occasionally overnight.
• Availability to work over 50 hours during busy periods.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience is welcomed; training will be provided.
• Current Commercial Driver’s License is advantageous.
• Background checks, motor vehicle checks, and drug screening are required.
