Job summary

CobbFendley is seeking a SUE Field Technician in the San Antonio area. The role focuses on field operations, safety, and data collection for civil infrastructure projects.

The position requires at least 3 years of field experience, ability to operate specialized equipment, and strong teamwork in dynamic outdoor environments. In this on-site role, you will support exposure of underground utilities, perform data gathering with ArcGIS Online, and travel locally and regionally as projects demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of field experience in civil infrastructure.
• Knowledge of field operations, safety requirements and environmental considerations.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations to ensure project success.
• Operate equipment safely and coordinate with project staff.
• Travel locally and interstate, including overnights, as needed.
• Document field data using GIS mapping tools and field notes.
• Coordinate with survey personnel to ensure proper data documentation.
