Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a qualified SUDP clinician to provide direct counseling to adults, youth, and families dealing with chemical dependency. The role emphasizes integrated, client-centered care and requires adherence to ASAM criteria for treatment planning.
Expect to manage up to 12 clients in intensive outpatient and up to 30 in aftercare, with duties including intake assessments, case management, and coordination with courts and service networks.

We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Position Summary This individual is responsible for providing direct counseling services to patients. The counselor is the agent for providing services to patients in a one-to-one or group format, performing assessments, evaluations, and intakes. Services are provided to adults, youth, and their families. These clients have a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency and may also have emerging mental health problems. Applicants are expected to subscribe to the disease concept of chemical dependency with the belief that total abstinence is required for ongoing recovery from alcoholism and other drug addiction. The SUDP provides clinical supervision to the SUD Trainees, if they are assigned by the Program Manager, Clinical Supervisor, or Behavioral Health Regional Director. The position will work with and support other Sea Mar employees and patients to help fulfil the organization’s mission.
Hourly: 29.05 USD
