Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Social Worker (Program Coordinator) to serve as the SUD Coordinator for the SSVF and HCHV programs. You will provide case management, outreach, and training within a team-focused, recovery-oriented environment.

The role requires an MSW from CSWE-accredited school, state advanced practice licensure, and experience with SUD treatment and homelessness services. Telework is not available; standard VA employment benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work from CSWE-accredited program (or equivalent).
• Licensed or certified at advanced practice level in state where licensed.
• Experience with SUD treatment and related co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct SUD services for SSVF and HealthCare for Homeless Veterans programs.
• Conduct outreach and engagement activities with Veterans and families.
• Lead training for multidisciplinary teams on SUD assessment, relapse prevention, and life skills.
• Perform intake, needs assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans.
