Job summary

Bel Aire Recovery Center in Kansas seeks a Counselor to provide treatment, counseling, and support for clients in recovery from addictions and related conditions. Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in social services, addiction, or related field and 3+ years of post-bachelor experience.
• Or master’s degree with 1+ year post-master experience.
• Licensure as social worker, counselor, or addiction counselor per state agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client assessments to identify history, current presentation, and treatment needs.
• Lead individual, group, or family sessions using evidence-based modalities.
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed and document appropriately.
