Job summary

Brightli in Winfield, KS seeks a Counselor/ Therapist to support individuals with mental health and substance use recovery. You will develop individualized treatment plans, lead group and individual sessions, and maintain relationships with clients and referral sources.

The role emphasizes crisis management, regulatory documentation, and ongoing professional development in a compassionate team environment.

Qualifications

• LMSW/LMAC/LPC/LMFT preferred.
• Master's or bachelor's in a human services field, and/or credentialed to provide services within scope of practice.
• Credentials as a Qualified Addiction Professional (MCB) or LAC/LCAC (BSRB) required or pursued.
• Willingness to credential in additional states and provide telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Complete intake, screening, and assessment within designated time frames.
• Develop and individualize treatment plans based on assessment information.
• Document all services per regulatory standards.
• Facilitate group counseling, education, and individual sessions focused on recovery.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, referral sources, and coworkers.
• Handle crisis situations effectively as they arise.
• Participate in clinical staffing and treatment team meetings, providing case feedback.
• Assist clients through transitions and complete necessary correspondence.
