Job summary

BAART Programs is looking for a Substance Abuse Counselor in Brighton, Colorado. The counselor will assist patients through medically assisted treatments and conduct individual sessions focused on crisis management and coping strategies. Applicants should have relevant licensure in Colorado and ideally two years of counseling experience. The position offers a starting salary of $25.78 per hour along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance and a 401K match.

Qualifications

• Must hold an LAC, CAS, CAT, or LPCC in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a related setting is preferred.
• The ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans and chart accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling services; direct service hours at regularly scheduled intervals.
• Conduct individual initial assessment and evaluation interviews for service eligibility determination.
• Develop aftercare plans and discharge plans.

Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills
