Job summary

UCP of Central Florida seeks a Virtual Success Coach to support students with and without disabilities in a fully online learning environment. Under a Florida-certified teacher, you will implement instructional programs, facilitate small-group instruction, and monitor progress toward IEP goals.

Role is primarily remote with occasional in-person testing and professional development. You will engage in MTSS/PBIS-aligned activities, data collection, and collaboration with families and learning

Qualifications

  • Requires ability to implement specially designed instruction aligned to IEP goals.
  • Experience with MTSS/PBIS-aligned interventions and progress monitoring.
  • Familiarity with Florida standards and accessible instructional practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide instructional support in online learning environments.
  • Assist with delivery of instruction and accommodations under certified teacher supervision.
  • Facilitate small-group instruction and targeted interventions.
  • Support data collection and progress monitoring for IEP goals.
  • Help prepare students for required assessments and standardized testing.
  • Maintain accurate instructional documentation and records.

UCP of Central Florida unlocks the potential of thousands of children each year at our campuses, pediatric therapy clinics and parent support programs.Job Summary:The Virtual Success Coach provides instructional support to students with and without disabilities at UCP Virtual Immersive Learning Academy, a fully online learning environment under the supervision of a Florida-certified teacher. This role supports students’ ongoing academic progress and engagement across instructional settings by assisting with the implementation of instructional programs, facilitating small-group instruction, and monitoring student performance toward IEP goals. The candidate must have access to reliable high speed internet. This position is primarily remote; however, occasional in-person travel may be required for state-mandated testing, professional development, or other school-related activities.ResponsibilitiesInstructional Support & Student LearningServe as an instructional facilitator in the absence of an instructorSupports the delivery of specially designed instruction aligned to IEP goals under the direction of a certified teacher, while reinforcing student access to grade-level curriculum through approved accommodations and instructional supportsAssists with synchronous and asynchronous learning activities to promote student engagement and masteryFacilitates small-group instructional support and targeted interventions as assigned by the supervising teacherSupports differentiated instruction using evidence-based strategies and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principlesReinforces evidence-based reading instruction and instructional strategies aligned to Florida standardsUses approved curriculum and supplemental instructional resources, as directed, to meet individual student learning needs in accordance with school policiesAssessment, Data & Progress MonitoringCollects, organizes, and documents student data, observations, and work samples to support monitoring of progress toward IEP goalsSupports teachers in using assessment data to personalize instruction, guide interventions, and support student masteryAssists with preparation of students for required assessments and standardized testingAssists with administering assessments, progress monitoring, and data collection within the learning management systemMaintains accurate instructional documentation and student records as assignedMTSS, PBIS & Special Populations SupportSupports implementation of PBIS- and MTSS-aligned academic and behavioral interventionsReinforces Tier 1 instruction and assists with Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions in collaboration with instructional staffAssists teachers with the development and implementation of IEPs and Section 504 Plans, including drafting instructional supports, implementing accommodations, and documenting progressAdheres to IDEA, Section 504, ADA, Florida statutes, and school policies applicable to the roleVirtual Learning Environment & Student EngagementSupports the establishment and maintenance of routines, expectations, and procedures for virtual learningReinforces a structured, inclusive, and engaging online learning environmentPromotes positive student behavior, attendance, and active participation in virtual settingsFamily & Learning Coach CommunicationBuilds and maintains positive relationships with families and parents/learning coachesSupports consistent communication regarding student progress, instructional supports, accommodations, and interventions, as directed by the supervising teacherAssists families with instructional questions and virtual learning routines in alignment with school policiesProfessional ResponsibilitiesParticipates in virtual staff meetings, collaborative planning, professional development, and school eventsSupports timely completion of special education documentation and compliance-related tasks as assignedDemonstrates professionalism, punctuality, and adherence to deadlines and organizational expectationsUpholds ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and professional conductPerforms other related duties as assignedWhat UCP OffersOur mission at UCP is to empower children with and without disabilities to achieve their potential by providing individualized support, education and therapy services in an inclusive environment.
