Subway - Hufnagel Holdings LLC in New York is seeking a Manager to join our expanding team. This full-time position offers a guaranteed $17.00 per hour and room for growth as we lead the next stage of our brand.

You will oversee guest experience, food quality, safety, inventory, staff recruitment and training, and contribute to local marketing efforts. The role includes a 401(k), bonuses up to $750 per month, tips averaging $3 per hour, and scholarship opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• At least 2 years in a restaurant environment with supervising/training staff.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong verbal communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and POS use.
• Ability to operate POS/cash register.
• High attention to detail.
• Able to lift 10–25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent guest experience.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Providing an excellent guest experience

• Ensuring that great food is prepared & served

• Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful

• Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed. Including being aware of local and national healthy and food safety codes

• Managing inventory and money control systems

• Coordinating local marketing initiatives, including community outreach

• Recruiting staff

• Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales

• Identifying and contacting prospective Guests to promote sales

• Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred

• A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.
