Job summary

Road Ranger is seeking a Subway – Assistant Food Service Coordinator. You will deliver fast, friendly customer service, manage POS transactions, and safeguard cash and inventory while upholding food safety and cleanliness standards.

You will lead a team of Subway staff, hire when needed, and contribute to a positive work environment in a fast-paced setting with potential for growth. Pay ranges from $15.50 to $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Friendly, hard-working and reliable leader who engages with customers, employees and vendors.
• Ability to provide fast, friendly service and maintain food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast and friendly customer service and operate the point-of-sale system.
• Safeguard cash and inventory and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness of the Subway area and comply with food safety standards.
• Hire, lead and develop Subway employees for a cooperative, high-performing team.
• Prepare fresh-made sandwiches and other offerings for customers.

About our Subway – Assistant Food Service Coordinator :

Our Subway – Food Service Coordinators do more than simply complete paperwork and place orders. As the face of Subway, you are to provide and ensure fast and friendly customer service, creating a fun and positive work environment, hiring and leading a top group of Subway employees, dedicated to serving up fresh-made, delicious sandwiches and other offerings for our hungry customers. In addition to preparing food, this role is responsible for providing fast and friendly customer service, operating the point-of-sale system, safeguarding cash and inventory, maintaining proper food safety standards, and ensuring the cleanliness of the Subway area. This position is engaging, gives you a lot of variety in your day, and prepares you for more responsibility along your Subway/ Road Ranger journey.
