Stellantis seeks a Sub-System Technical Lead (SSTL) for Suspension/Wheels/Tires/Mounts to drive design, development and validation of chassis systems for specific vehicle programs. You will coordinate suppliers, resolve issues, and manage part changes while leading a matrix of engineers and interfacing with the VSR.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 8+ years of engineering experience and proven capability to present to senior management. MS Office skills and team leadership are essential.

Responsabilités

• Lead design, development and validation activities for chassis systems (Suspension/Wheels/Tires/Mounts).
• Coordinate supplier and sourcing activities and issue resolution.
• Author source packages and manage part changes including cost considerations.
• Provide engineering design and development management oversight.
• Lead cross-functional teams and interact with the vehicle's Chassis Vehicle System Responsible (VSR).

SSTL (Sub-System Technical Lead) – Suspension/Wheels/Tires/Mounts will be responsible to lead and coordinate the design, development, and validation activities for Chassis systems for specific vehicle programs. This includes responsibilities to meet quality, cost, investment, weight, timing, technical and specified functional objectives. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) coordination of supplier and sourcing activities, issue resolution, authoring source packages, issue management, part change management (including cost collaboration) and Engineering Design & Development management. The position requires matrix interaction/leadership of assigned design and development engineers to achieve stated objectives. The position also requires close matrix interaction and taking direction from the subject vehicle's Chassis Vehicle System Responsible (VSR).

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelorof Science in Engineering or related degree field
• Minimum of 8 years of engineeringdesign and development experience
• Excellent communication and organization skills, with confidence in presenting to Senior Management
• Vehicle launchexperience
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Ability to work & lead in a teamenvironment
• MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master of Science Degree
• Blackbelt in Reactive problem solving or DFSS
