Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, CA, seeks a Level 5 Leadership to guide the ADP Subsystems Design and Installation team. The role blends mentoring and technical work, reporting to the Design Team Senior Manager within Structures.

Responsibilities include growth opportunities, training, performance reviews, and rewards administration. Must be a US Citizen with active Secret clearance; ability to obtain program special access is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or above Degree from an accredited college in a related engineering discipline.
• Experience with 3-D computer aided design tools listed (CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, Pro/Engineer, Creo, Unigraphics, 3DX or equivalent).
• Experience leading teams and mentoring in a technical environment.
• US Citizenship with active secret security clearance; facility with special access.
• Experience with subsystems design and installation (Airframe Layout, Detail Part and Assembly, Harness Design, H&I).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor team members, perform administrative duties and assess performance.
• Identify opportunities for growth and development; manage training activities.
• Handle compensation and awards/recognition processes.
• Split duties between management and direct technical work with the ADP design team.
• Collaborate with customer and senior management to ensure program success.

This position is for a Level 5 Leadership opportunity within the ADP Subsystems Design and Installation team. The position will be in Palmdale, California reporting to the Design Team Senior Manager within the Structures organization. Responsibilities will include career mentoring, administrative duties, performance assessments, identifying opportunities for growth and development, managing training activities, behavioral actions, compensation, and awards/recognition. Responsibilities will be split between managerial duties and execution of technical work with the Design team in ADP.

Must be a US Citizen; applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

The ability to obtain a Secret and program special access clearances required.

Basic Qualifications

• Team Lead Experience.
• Experience in subsystsem design and installation (Airframe Layout, Detail Part and Assembly, Harness Design, H&I).
• Experience with 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools such as CATIA, NX, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Creo, Unigraphics, 3DX, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s or above Degree from an accredited college in a related engineering discipline.
• Must be a US Citizen with active secret security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Pay Information

Full‑Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00
