Staunton City & Schools in Staunton, Virginia is seeking a Substitute Nurse for part-time, on-site assignments in the district. The nurse will perform health care procedures, administer medications, and handle clerical tasks under the lead nurse or administrator.

Current Registered Nurse only; per diem pay is $200 per day, with no benefits. Starting date is immediate, with duties aligned to district procedures and National Nursing and First Aid standards.

Job Description

Substitute Nurses:

SUMMARY: The School Nurse performs special physical health care procedures and administers medication according to district procedure. Performs a variety of clerical tasks and related work as required in schools. Works within the framework of school law, district rules, and adhering to National Nursing and First Aid standards. Works under the supervision of the lead nurse and/or school administrator.

This position is PART TIME AS NEEDED position with no benefits.

Current Registered Nurse Only.

Pay Rate: $200/Day
