Job summary

ROSWELL INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a Substitute Warehouse/Delivery Worker to support the district’s food service and supply operations. The role includes delivering and returning carts, maintaining stockroom organization, and performing routine inventory tasks.

The position requires a valid New Mexico driver’s license, basic math and communication skills, and the ability to work 2–7 hours as needed. Local travel may be involved and adherence to HACCP and safety guidelines is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Current Driver's license and car insurance (if traveling).
• Basic mathematical, reading and writing skills.
• Food Service Safety and Health Requirements.
• Personal and professional task management through technology.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively and professionally with colleagues, supervisors, administrators, parents, and vendors.
• Maintain inventories on food, non-food and equipment.
• Responsible for Safe, timely delivery/return of hot/cold food carts to/from Satellite schools.
• Maintains a neat, orderly stockroom.
• Takes monthly inventory.
• Assists with delivery and unloading of goods.
• Must be able to drive from site to site and work 2 to 7 hours as needed.
• Follow district policies and administrative rules and regulations.
