The Katherine Thomas School, part of TLC - The Treatment and Learning Centers, is seeking Substitute Teaching Assistants for its early childhood and middle school programs for the 2026/2027 year. The private special education school supports students with language, learning, and sensory motor disabilities and high-functioning autism; substitutes will be with staff in classrooms, with hours varying by needs.

Rate of Pay: $18/hour without a Bachelor's Degree, $19.50/hour with a Bachelor's Degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous work in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff in implementing instructional lessons and monitoring students.
• Work in a classroom with other school staff.
