Welcome to Maine School Administrative District #75 (MSAD 75)

Serving Maine’s Midcoast communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham, MSAD 75 is home to over 2,350 students and more than 600 faculty and staff members.

MSAD 75 is seeking Substitute Teachers to join our vibrant educational community. Together, we can inspire the next generation of learners and leaders.

Substitute Teachers provide coverage for educator absences on an as-needed basis throughout the district, covering various grade levels and content areas. They follow sub plans provided by the respective Classroom Teacher. Substitutes can choose where, when, and how often they work, and our district is always looking for substitutes!

PAY RATE: $158/day

REQUIREMENTS:

1. 2 Years (60 credits) of college-level courses
2. Speak clearly, communicate effectively, and have good hearing and vision
3. Complete all physical duties safely, including upper and lower body movements, reaching, lifting (at least 10-20 lbs.), bending, twisting, stooping, and climbing stairs
4. Accurately perform eye-hand coordinated tasks
5. State of Maine Department of Education background check (CHRC) authorization
